Welcome to Rogers Kustoms
It all started when my wife and I were picnicking and heard someone hitting something repetitively.
We investigated and the next week I was learning how to make a coat hook with a hammer, anvil, and a charcoal forge.
I have always loved working with my hands and the opportunity to create with a new medium took me by storm. Over time I have built my own shop, made and purchased tools, and learned more about metal than I ever thought I would.
I enjoy working with high carbon steels as I am able to have control over the entire process and I know what is done each and every step of the way. I do work with stainless steel as well, I just send it out for proper heat treating.
The tools I have acquired over the years are some of the best that I can make, build, or buy. I do believe in quality products and have a bucket of steel that will attest to that. I only use known steel from manufacturers that I can heat treat properly. I create all kinds of fixed blade knives. I enjoy learning and working with W2 and experimenting with hamons I do some art knives and wall hangers as well.
